I've never done anything like this before. Can I still
come?

Absolutely. Beginners are very welcome. I'll show you the
techniques you need and guide you throughout the workshop.

Do I need to be artistic?

No. Definitely not.

You can take inspiration from examples in the studio or come
with your own ideas. I'll help you turn them into a design that works in glass.

Can I choose my own colours?

Yes. Choosing your glass and making the design your own is
part of the fun.

Are materials included?

Yes. The tools, equipment and materials needed for your
workshop project are included.

Can I come by myself?

Of course. You don't need to arrive as part of a group.

Do you offer private workshops?

Yes. Private sessions can be arranged for groups,
celebrations and get-togethers.

Where are you?

Fired Fusion Glass Design is based in Adwick upon Dearne,
South Yorkshire, convenient for Doncaster, Mexborough, Barnsley and
Rotherham.

Parking is available on the street but please be considerate of our neighbours when you park.

What happens to my glass afterwards?

Your creation needs to be kiln-fired after the workshop.
I'll explain when and how your finished piece will be available for collection.

What should I wear to a workshop?

There are no strict requirements, however for safety closed-toed shoes are recommended. Long loose sleeves are not recommended as these can get in the way of your work. 

Do I need to bring my own tools?

All the tools, equipment and materials are included in the workshop so you do not need to bring anything at all. If you require glasses for close work please don’t forget to bring them!

I have booked and paid a deposit for a course or workshop but can no longer attend.

Paying a deposit to reserve a space in a workshop means that I may not be able to fill the space in the event that you cancel. However, I will always try to accommodate you if you can no longer attend a course or workshop, and if possible transfer you to another date or workshop of your choice (please note this is subject to availability).

In the event that you can’t be transferred to another course or workshop please refer to the following refund policy:

For cancellations up to four weeks before the workshop your deposit will be returned.

For cancellations four weeks or less before the workshop your deposit is not refundable.

Booking a space in a workshop means that I may not be able to fill that space in the event that you cancel.   However, I will always try to accommodate you if you can no longer attend a course or workshop, and if possible transfer you to another date or workshop of your choice (please note this is subject to availability).

For cancellations four weeks or less before the workshop or course start date a refund minus the appropriate deposit amount will be given (see below).
