Never Tried Fused Glass Before?

Perfect.

Most people don't arrive knowing how to cut glass or how
fused glass works. That's what the workshop is for.

I'll introduce you to the materials, demonstrate the
techniques you'll need and guide you through creating your own design.

There's no pressure and no expectation that you already know
what you're doing.

And there's one phrase I'd particularly like to ban from my
workshop:

“I'm not creative.”

You might surprise yourself.

What Happens at a Workshop?

When you arrive, I'll welcome you into the studio and
introduce you to the wonderful world of fused glass.

I'll show you the tools, materials and different types of
glass you'll be working with and explain how to use them safely.

Then comes the fun part.

You'll choose your colours and start designing your own
piece.

I'll be there throughout the session to demonstrate
techniques, answer questions and help turn your ideas into something that will
work beautifully in glass.

Once you're happy with your creation, you'll leave it with
me.

I'll carefully fire your piece in the kiln, where heat
transforms all those individual pieces of glass into your finished creation.

Then it'll be ready for you to collect.

You create it. I fire it. Then you get the excitement of
seeing the finished result.
