What Happens During Your Private Workshop?
1. Arrive & Settle In
I'll welcome your group into the studio and introduce you to fused glass.
2. I'll Show You How
You'll learn about the glass, tools and techniques you'll be using, with a demonstration before you get started.
3. Choose Your Glass
This is where the fun really begins.
Choose your colours, experiment with different combinations and start creating your design.
4. Create Your Piece
I'll be there to help, answer questions and offer suggestions — but your design is entirely your own.
5. Leave It With Me
Once you've finished, I'll carefully kiln-fire your pieces.
You'll then be able to collect your finished creations and enjoy the results of your day together.
You make it. I fire it. You take home the memories.
What Does a Private Workshop Cost?
Private workshops in the Fired Fusion studio are available for groups of 8–12 people, with prices from £45 per person. If your group size is bigger than this I can come and run the workshop from your space instead. All you need is a desk and chair per person, I can provide the rest.
Your workshop includes:
- All glass and materials
- Use of studio tools and equipment
- Full instruction and demonstrations
- Help and guidance throughout
- Kiln firing of your finished piece
- A private session for your group
What Can We Make?
Every person gets to create their own piece, choosing colours and designing something that's uniquely theirs.
You don't need to arrive with a design already planned.
I'll give you ideas and inspiration and help you work out what will look good in glass.

Private workshops are available for groups of 8-12 people. If your group is larger than this I can come to your space instead. If your group is smaller than this, please get in touch and I'll let you know what's possible.
Do we need any previous experience?
Not at all. The workshops are designed for beginners and I'll guide you through everything you need to know.
Can we all make different designs?
Yes. Everyone can choose their own colours and create their own piece.
Can we book the whole studio?
Yes. That's what makes a private workshop special — the session is reserved for your group.
Is everything included in the price?

What about a work team?
Small team groups are very welcome. It's a great way to spend some time together away from the usual work environment.
What happens to our creations after the workshop?
Your pieces need to be kiln-fired after the workshop, so they won't be ready to take home on the day. I'll let you know when they're ready for collection.
